How to Pack Glass Item for Courier

When you shift to a new property or have a glassware to be sent via courier, packaging glassware is a key task. If packing of glass item isn’t carried out in a right manner, then almost always an outcome of items at the destination after the delivery would be completely or partially destroyed. So take a note of some important advice below to ensure that your item arrive intact.
How to Pack Glass Item for Courier
Ahead of your preparation of your glass items, make sure you have gathered the correct packaging material.
Arrange a good box, Shipping to India recommends to use a fresh double walled cardboard box. In case, you are unable to seek a new box, then an old one will do the job, as far as you make sure to strengthen it with extra packaging tape.
Start with wrapping the glass items in the paper. It can be any paper as per your choice to wrap the glassware. In case you are unable to find any paper lying around, then feel free to use newspaper. Wrap up your glass items securely with the paper, cover them in at least a couple of layers.
Now, take bubble wrap and cut out big squares. Cover your glassware in as much as you can. Secure bubble wrap with packaging tape. Wrap in such a the way that the color and shape of the glassware is not recognizable. This avoids any damage to the glassware that you are packing.
Now it’s time to wrap your bubble wrapped glassware in cling film. Doing this adds one more layer of protection to the glassware. Also, it keeps the bubble wrap firm on the item.
Fill the cardboard box base generously with the packaging peanuts. During the transit of the glassware this will observe any impact and help keep the item intact.
How to Seal Your Box
Place the bubble wrapped glassware inside the box. Pour the packaging peanuts generously and avoid leaving any empty space. To check if all is intact inside the box, give it a good shake. In case you hear anything moving while you shake the box, then you need to add more packaging peanuts and material.
Fill the box with the packaging paper or packaging peanuts until you can no longer hear any sound while you shake the box.
Now take the packaging tape and stick a long piece of its across the central seam on the box, and then tape along the sides of the top of the box, so it resembles alphabet “H.”
